Tennessee State offensive lineman Robert Lacey has accepted an invitation to participated in the 2023 HBCU Legacy Bowl. Lacey earned 2022 Preseason All-OVC honours and made the 2023 Senior Bowl Watchlist , as he helped open up holes for a TSU offense that featured two backs in Jalen Rouse and Devon Starling that each ran for over 500 yards and averaged at least 4.7 yards per carry. Tennessee State OL Lacey named to 2023 Senior Bowl watchlist

Tennessee state senior offensive lineman Robert Lacey was named to Reese’s Senior Bowl preseason watch list. The Blount High School (AL) played at left guard for all his appearances last season for the Tigers and helped the run game average 114.7 yards per game and average 75% in the red-zone. The Senior Bowl has been around since 1950 and has produced 55 NFL Hall of Fame players.
