Courtesy of Dr. Earnest Brown, Albany State Athletics Three Albany State University Golden Rams softball players participated in the 2023 Minority Softball Prospects All-Star Game that was held on June 2, at Georgia Gwinnett College Softball Field.  The MSP HBCU All-Star Game featured the top 40 HBCU talent from D1, D2, NAIA, and Junior College levels.  Albany State Golden Rams Madison Hurt, Keyatta Ayers and Morgan Brown participated in the All-Star extravaganza. Golden Rams pitchers toss no-no in softball’s 13-0 win over Allen U

In their series with Allen University, the Albany State offense has been quite lively, generating 23 runs through the first two games. The Golden Rams pitching has been getting it done in their own right, not surrendering a single run and only allowing four Yellow Jacket hits over the two games. While the ASU bats were certainly active, scoring 13 runs on Sunday afternoon it was the Rams arms that took, their performance to another level, throwing a no-hitter in their 13-0 victory.
