The NBA wealth get even wealthier. Seven-time All-Star LaMarcus Aldridge , who was recently bought out by the San Antonio Spurs, will reportedly sign a one-year, veteran’s minimum deal with the Brooklyn Nets. Aldridge had posted numbers 13.7 points and 4.5 rebounds in the 45 appearances he made for the Spurs this season. The Nets may not yet still not be done bolstering their roster, as Wojnarowski adds they have a remaining roster spot they can fill in the buyout market.

From Myron Medcalf of ESPN Grand Canyon standout Oscar Frayer died in a car accident in northern California early Tuesday morning, according to a release from the school. He was 23 years old. Frayer’s older sister, Andrea Moore, and a third person in their vehicle were also killed in the crash, the school confirmed Thursday. Frayer, a 6-foot-6 senior guard/forward, started in Grand Canyon’s 86-74 loss to Iowa in the first round of the NCAA tournament last week.
