Tennessee State guard Erica Haynes-Overton was named Ohio Valley Conference Newcomer of the Week. Although the Tigers came up empty in their games last week, losing a 67-65 nail biter at home to Stetson and a decisive 100-72 beatdown at Southern Illinois, Haynes-Overton averaged 17.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.5 steals in the two matchups.
