”Christmas” Kobe III coming this holiday season

The Kobe III is getting the Protro treatment as seen with the return of the halo colorway, however, images have surfaced of another colorway of the model in a Christmas-themed colorway. They featured a swirly, black blue, and white pattern at the toe cap. It subtly transitions to white towards the heel. “Moonwalker” Nike Kobe IX Elite Low Protro release date changed

Inspired by Michael Jackson’s Moonwalk,  this Kobe IX Elite Low Protro sports a hyper grape Flyknit upper adorned on the sides with silver Swooshes.  Black shows up at the inner, with a silver Kobe logo perched atop the tongue.  On the rear heel, nine hash marks can be seen, completing an upper that sits atop an updated midsole that can handle the cushioning demands of today’s players. Like its 2013 progenitor, they will sport a black ballistic mesh upper overland with a black patent rand that is higher cut in keeping in line with how the material was presented on the original Air Jordan 11.  A gamma blue Jumpman can be seen on the lateral ankle, with “23” present on the rear heel. An initial look at the “El Vuelvo” Air Jordan 3

This upcoming Air Jordan 3 is inspired by lucha libre culture. Making use of a white, red and green color palette inspired by the Mexican flag, they sports a white leather upper with lizard print overlays on the side inspired by luchadors masks.  Red lizard print overlays are seen at the toe and wrap the heel, taking the positions typically occupied by the iconic elephant print.
