By releasing multiple sneakers that dance all around the colourway without actually doing so, Jordan Brand continues to give a one-finger salute and a kick in the junk to all fans of the “Taxi” Air Jordan 12, with the “Black Taxi” being the latent example of this blatant thumbing of the nose at their consumer.
This upcoming Air Jordan 12 sports a black upper, overlaid with lizard print mudguards on the lateral and medial sides. Taxi shows up to provide some visual variety at the various branding points, breaking up the monochromatic look of the sneaker.
Underneath resides a black midsole and a taxi-branded black rubber outsole.
The “Black Taxi” Air Jordan 12 is, as it currently stands, scheduled to debut December 3 at nike.com and select retail establishments. They will carry a 200 USD sticker price.
