From being on the feet of Jason Kidd as well as a young, warmup jacket clad Brent “Bones” as he soared to victory in the 1996 NBA Slam Dunk Contest, the Nike Air Zoom Flight 95 is one of the many storied silhouettes from the golden age of Nike Basketball.
The “True Red” which is the colorway Comes wore in the ’96 Dunk Contest, is making a return later this year.
As can be seen in the images below it sports a white leather upper overlaid with red. piped with black. A red Swoosh is present on the toe, with the same branding showing up in white on the lateral ankle. True red is also present on the inner, tongue and rear pull tab.
A white midsole and rubber outsole of the same color completes the aesthetic.
The “True Red” Nike Air Zoom Flight 95 is scheduled to return this fall.
