Udonis Haslem Fires Back at Draymond Green: ‘You Was on Sucka Sht Four Years Ago and You on Sucka Sht Now’

The back-and-forth between Udonis Haslem and Draymond Green has escalated.

After Green questioned whether Haslem would keep the same energy following reports of Bam Adebayo punching Tyler Herro during a Miami Heat practice, Haslem fired back with an unfiltered response on social media, accusing the Warriors veteran of trying to compare two completely different situations.

“I see some things just don’t change. You was on sucka sht four years ago when you swung on Jordan Poole and you on sucka sht now.”

Haslem took issue with Green comparing his infamous punch of Jordan Poole during a 2022 Golden State Warriors practice to the reported altercation between Adebayo and Herro.

According to Haslem, the circumstances aren’t remotely comparable.

He pointed to the age and experience gap between Green and Poole at the time, noting that Green was a four-time NBA champion in his early 30s while Poole was just 23 years old.

“If you think your big 32-year-old, 3 or 4 rings at the time having ass swinging on a 23-year-old Jordan Poole… is the same then you are even more delusional than I thought.”

Haslem also defended Adebayo, suggesting the Heat All-Star showed restraint during the reported incident.

“Anyone who knows Bam knows he’s strong as baby bear. If he would’ve unloaded on Tyler 100% it’s over.”

The longtime Heat captain also addressed Green’s criticism of how he handled Jimmy Butler during Butler’s confrontations with coaches and teammates.

Haslem made it clear he has no regrets.

“The sht you pull in Golden State and that sht he pulled in Chicago… ain’t gon fly in the 305.”

Haslem emphasized that maintaining accountability inside the organization has always been part of Miami’s culture, adding that he would not allow any player to undermine head coach Erik Spoelstra or disrupt the team’s locker room.

He concluded his message by saying he has no personal relationship with Green and has no interest in continuing the public feud.

“You brought me into this and I am retired and out the way. I suggest you keep it pushing cause I ain’t giving out no more hall passes bra!”

The exchange stems from comments Green made on his podcast after reports surfaced that Adebayo and Herro were involved in a physical altercation during a Heat practice. Green questioned whether Haslem would publicly criticize Adebayo the same way he criticized Green following the Jordan Poole incident.

Instead, Haslem responded with one of his strongest public statements in years, defending Miami’s culture while insisting Green’s situation with Poole should not be viewed through the same lens.
