More detailed images of the CAU dunks that reveal that the pair is actually mismatched, with the grey and black color blocking reversed on each shoe, making them much more visually interesting. Each tongue features a Panthers Athletics logo, with an embroidered “1988″, the year of the merger between then-Clark College and Atlanta University that formed Clark-Atlanta University, on the rear heel. The pictured pair does not feature the school’s motto of ”FIND A WAY OR MAKE ONE” on the laces, however this is no indication that this feature will be absent on the retail pairs.
