From the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference: NORFOLK, Va. – Sept. 13, 2021 – Norfolk State quarterback Juwan Carter was named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Football Offensive Player of the Week, presented by Coca-Cola, the conference announced today. South Carolina State defensive back Decobie Durant was named Defensive Player of the Week and Delaware State’s Sy’Veon Wilkerson was named Rookie of the Week. Norfolk State’s Jalen Powell was named Offensive Lineman of the Week, and picking up Specialist of the Week honors was North Carolina Central’s Juan Velarde.  Juwan Carter (QB, 6-0, 175, r-Sr., Richmond, Va.) tossed two touchdowns and passed…

Though its release is still several months away, since the initial mock-ups came to light, the “UNC” Air Jordan 6 is already an anticipated release for 2022. Shadeur Sanders named Stats Perform FCS National Player of the Week

Jackson State quarterback Shadeur Sanders was named Stats Perform FCS National Player of the Week. Sanders was outstanding in JSU’s 38-16 rump -kicking of Tennessee State in the Southern Heritage Classic, completing 30 of his 40 pass attempts for 362 yards and three touchdowns. His 30 completions set a SHC record. The Tigers of Jackson State head to Monroe, Louisiana to take on Louisiana-Monroe this Saturday night in another nationally televised game on ESPN3. Kickoff is set for 7 pm EST.

“Chocolate Milk” Social Status X Nike Dunk Mid coming September 17

Nike and Social Status have joined forces on this upcoming Dunk Mid. Inspired by the milk cartons that accompany free lunches, one pair makes use of a light soft pink/coconut-pink glaze and the other a canvas/mid soft pink-burnt brown, each colour palette representative of chocolate and strawberry flavors, respectively, of the dairy beverage.
