Monday the NBA announced their conference players of the week for games played during the week of February 28-March 6. The Timberwolves Karl-Anthony Towns was named Western Conference Player of the Week, while the Celtics’ Jayson Tatum took honors as the Eastern Conference Player of the Week. The Albany State tennis team took care of business , 7-0, Saturday against the Wildcats of Fort Valley State. In singles competition Doylisha Copeland, Allyah Williams, Asia Raulerson, Sumana Panauganti, Carla Sorroche all claimed victory in their respective matches.
