The Air Jordan VIII turned 30 this year and in commemorating that milestone, the “Playoff” colorway is making its return this weekend. It sports a black leather and nubuck upper with its “23” emblazoned cross straps. A Jumpman appears on the chenille tongue, with “AIR JORDAN” appearing on ankle enclosure of the aforementioned straps. We have often said that being a Jordan Brand, or affiliate with any other brand for that matter, has its perks. Tar Heels women’s hoops senior forward Alyssa Utsby displayed one of the spoils of playing at a Jordan Brand school, introducing the world to the team-exclusive Air Jordan XXXVIII.
