North Carolina unveils new basketball court

The University of North Carolina is having its basketball reunion tonight, bringing together former Tar Heels ball players from years past along with current players. Part of the evening’s festivities is the dedication of the basketball court to Coach Roy Williams. Teams in the Dean Dome will now hoop it up on Roy Williams Court. Well I can admit it, I was wrong. If you read my earlier piece from today, you know I predicted that North Carolina would win tonight’s national championship game against Villanova. I said the Tar Heels’ size and their defense would be more than the Wildcats would be able to handle. How off I was! So here we are, just a few short hours away from the culmination of the college basketball season. The Final Four has come and went and ,considering some of the games we’d witnessed earlier in the tournament, the contests themselves were underwhelming. Nike Free Trainer 5.0 College Collection

As the genesis of the college basketball season looms on the horizon, the folks on Bowerman Drive have made sneakers honoring three of college basketball’s legendary programs. Duke, Kentucky, and North Carolina will all have themed versions of the Nike Free Trainer 5.0.
