Person of interest located in South Carolina State homecoming shooting
Last week, the South Carolina Enforcement Division (SLED) tracked down a person of interest relating to the shooting that occurred during South Carolina State’s homecoming on October 4. According to law enforcement, two separate shooting incidents took place on SCSU’s campus. The first took place at Hugine Suites, an on-campus residence hall, where one woman was killed, who was later identified by the Orange County Coroner as 19-year-old Jaliyah Butler.
