The geniuses in the ivory towers at Jordan Brand decided to troll their consumer base by not giving the well respected and very popular “taxi” Air Jordan 12, but instead, inextricably release an eerily visually similar colourway dubbed the “Royalty.”
As was just alluded to, this Air Jordan 12 bares a striking visual resemblance to the “taxi”, meaning it sports a white leather upper with black overlays on the lateral and medial sides. Black shows up on the sockliner along with metallic gold top eyelets and tabs on the lateral and medial midfoot. The same metallic gold hue is also use on the “TWO 3” that appears on the tongue and the “JORDAN” ”QUALITY INSPIRED BY THE GREATEST PLAYER EVER” lettering that has its home on the rear heel.
Below the aforementioned upper resides a black and white midsole and a black rubber outsole with a white Jumpman at the tip.
The “Royalty ” Air Jordan 12 is scheduled to release November 13 at nike.com and select retail establishments. They will carry a 190 USD sticker price.
