Tennessee State’s Cam Blaylock enters the transfer portal

In what could be one of the opening salvo in a mass exodus from the Tennessee State football program following the departure of head coach Eddie George, who became the head coach at Bowling Green, Tigers defensive lineman Cam Blaylock has entered the transfer portal.

In a post on his Instagram account, Blaylock, in part, said “Thank you Tennessee State University for welcoming me with open arms and giving me lifelong brothers, unforgettable memories, and experiences I will cherish forever. To my coaches, teammates, friends, and staff – your support and guidance have meant the world to me and I am truly grateful.

Blaylock, who is graduating from TSU in May with his bachelor’s degree, appeared in 14 games, recording 32 total tackles ( 18 solo, 14 assisted ), 9.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, 4 passes defense and a forced fumble.
