Las Vegas Aces superstar A’ja Wilson continues to tell her story through footwear.
Wilson took the court in a new Nike A’Two “Girl Scout” Player Exclusive (PE), a colorway inspired by her childhood as a member of the Girl Scouts in South Carolina. The latest PE further showcases Nike’s approach to making Wilson’s signature line a reflection of the experiences, achievements, and values that have shaped one of basketball’s most accomplished players. The sneaker draws heavily from the classic Girl Scout uniform, featuring multiple shades of green across the upper, bright yellow Swooshes, a multicolored heel tab, and a khaki-colored outsole. Badge-inspired details appear throughout the design, celebrating both Wilson’s time as a Girl Scout and her remarkable basketball résumé. (House of Heat°)
The tongue features Wilson’s No. 22, her Rookie of the Year honor, her signature “A” logo, Nike branding, and recognition of her 5,000-point milestone. Additional patches commemorate her three WNBA championships, four MVP awards, and Defensive Player of the Year honors, while a speckled outsole nods to the iconic Girl Scout Cookie Program. A Girl Scouts-inspired star dubrae completes the thoughtful design. (House of Heat°)
The inspiration goes beyond aesthetics. Wilson was a member of the Girl Scouts of South Carolina—Mountains to Midlands and was recognized as a 2020 Women of Distinction honoree by the organization for exemplifying leadership, confidence, and service to others. The PE serves as another tribute to the community that helped shape her journey long before she became a WNBA champion and global basketball icon. (House of Heat°)
At this time, the Nike A’Two “Girl Scout” PE is expected to remain a player-exclusive release, with no retail launch announced.
