PE Corner: 2026 “UNC” Air Jordan 12 PE Features Denim Construction

Carolina blue, dark navy overlays and denim construction? 🥶👀 This UNC-exclusive Air Jordan 12 PE is bringing a distinctive look to the iconic Air Jordan 12 silhouette.

First-look images of the 2026 “UNC” Air Jordan 12 PE have surfaced, showcasing a design that combines the University of North Carolina’s signature colors with denim materials and gold accents.

Denim Construction Meets Carolina Blue

Light blue denim makes up most of the upper, featuring the Air Jordan 12’s signature ribbed design. Dark navy overlays cover the mudguards on both sides of the shoe, creating a two-tone look that complements the Carolina blue base.

North Carolina branding appears on the tongue and rear pull tab, reinforcing the pair’s connection to the Tar Heels. Gold eyelets provide an additional pop of color, contrasting with the blue denim and navy detailing.

Underfoot, a two-tone midsole transitions into a navy rubber outsole to complete the design.

The combination of denim, Carolina blue and gold accents gives this Player Exclusive a distinctive identity while maintaining the recognizable shape of the Air Jordan 12.

Will the UNC Air Jordan 12 PE Release?

Although the first look has sneakerheads talking, there is no indication that a retail run is in the works for this Air Jordan 12.

As a Player Exclusive, the pair is intended for members of the UNC program rather than a general release. Sneaker fans hoping to add these to their collections will have to work connections and be prepared to shell out the big bucks.

Would You Cop These UNC Air Jordan 12 PEs?

The denim upper gives this pair a different look from more traditional Air Jordan 12 colorways.

Would you like to see Jordan Brand bring these to retail, or should they remain exclusive to North Carolina?
