The “Aunt Pearl” KD IV is an homage to KD’s beloved Aunt Pearl, who succumbed to lung cancer when Durant was just 11.
Originally released in 2012, the “Aunt Pearl” KD IV is set to makes its return in the upcoming holiday season.
It sports a pink fused upper with a mesh layer on the sides to aid in ventilation and breathability. A pearl graphic Adonis the overlay that wraps the heel, that also is home to Nike and KD branding ; the same pattern appears at the top of the Kay Yow branded tongue. A black Swoosh appears on the ankle strap
Underneath resides a pink midsole as well as pink translucent rubber outsole.
