Outside of the Holiday XI , and I would venture even exceeding that, the “rceimagined Chicago” Air Jordan 1 is likely the most highly-anticipated release of the balance of 2022. Though they are called “Reimagined”,perhaps “revisited” would be more fitting as this upcoming version of the fabled “Chicago” colorway offers not only a vintage look but also aims to replicated the shape of the original release.
In the true Chicago aesthetic it sports a white leather upper, however the material on this version features a cracked effect. The aforementioned white is overlaid with varsity red leather at the modified toe, which has been altered to be more true to the original release, eyerows , wrapping the heel and ankle. Black Swooshes adorn the lateral and medial sides, with the same hue showing up for the Wings logo and collar. Atop the sail tongue, colored so to add to the aged effect,
Below the upper resides a white midsole and a red rubber outsole that featured a dusted effect add to the aged theme.
