An initial look at the “Shattered Backboard” Air Jordan 1 High OG

When they released in 2015, the “Shattered Backboard” Air Jordan 1 High OG immediately became one of the most well-received and sought-after colorways of the AJ 1, with resell prices quickly ballooning to 4 figures.

Ten years after their original release Jordan Brand is running the coveted colorway back for a second retail run. Initial images of the 2025 iteration have emerged. Like its progenitor they sport starfish at the toe as well as wrapping the heel and flanking ankle. The former is overlaid with black leather, which also shows up at the eye rows. Black also shows up via the Swoosbea that adorns the lateral sides, the Wings logo that occupies the inner, as well as the nylon tongue.

Underneath resides a white midsole and starfish rubber outsole.
