Tennessee State wide receiver DeVaughn Slaughter was named Ohio Valley BIG South freshman of the week for his own field exploits this past week. A Waterville, ME man was arrested in connection with a robbery of a local sneaker store.  According to Major Jason Longley of the Waterville Police Department, a call was received about a robbery taking place at the Shoe Department Encore store located on JFK Plaza shortly before 7pm on August 11.  Store employees were able to provide officers with a description of the alleged robber and the vehicle in which he drove off.  A mere 10 minutes after the heist, police located the suspect’s vehicle.
