This iteration of the Nike Book 1 is made specifically for the members of the University of Missouri basketball program. One features a white base and the other a gold one.The white based look sports black-bordered gold Swooshes on the sides, along with a smaller embroidered Swoosh located on the lateral forefoot. Future Albany State Basketball player killed in Christmas Eve Shooing

The family and friends of Sekya Smith are dismayed and looking for answers after a tragic shooting on Christmas Eve. According to Atlanta police, 18-year-old Sakya Smith was killed when someone started shooting at her friend’s home, located on the 1100 block of Smith Street in Southwest Atlanta.  Smith, a basketball standout at Carver High School was rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital where, sadly, doctors pronounced her deceased.  Smith planned on attending Albany State University and majoring in criminal justice.  Police have been tight-lipped on the incident, not offering details…

Hampton’s Daniel Johnson named CAA Rookie of the Week

In the Pirates’ 83-67 win over Howard in the “Battle of the Real HU”, Johnson came off the pine to score 9 points on 3-5 FG, including 2-4 from downtown, adding 1 rebound, 1 assist and a steal in just 17 minutes of action. Since its debut in 2004, the “French Blue” Air Jordan 12 quickly ascended to among the most well-received colorways of 12. “Varsity Red” Nike SB x Air Jordan 4 scrapped

The “White/Navy” was not the only planned joint effort Nike SB x Jordan Brand Air Jordan 4. There were plans for a “Varsity Red” iteration as well, but those plans have reportedly been scrapped.  They apparently would have sported a while upper with netting of the same hue on the sides and tongue. According to Shams Charania, the Los Angeles Lakers and Brooklyn Nets have agreed on a deal in which the Lakers will send D’Angelo Russell , Maxwell Lewis and 3 second round picks in exchage for Dorian Finney-Smith and Shake Melton.
