Images of a “new” colorway of the Air Jordan 12 have come to light. In a very familiar visual package it sports a nubuck obsidian upper with metallic-looking detailing on the upper two lace loops. On the rear tag is “JORDAN” and “QUALITY INSPIRED BY THE GREATEST PLAYER EVER” in white below a dark blue Jumpman. The aesthetic is completed by a blue midsole and white rubber outsole. This Nike Zoom 2K is now available

This offering of the Nike Zoom 2K makes use of a white, ghost green, iron grey and thuderstorm color palette. The white based upper is trimmed in black, and overlaid by ghost green. Ghost green shows up for the tongue brainding while the lace loops spell out “ZOOM”, when viewed simultaneously. An golden are Zoom Air logo on the ankle completes the look of the upper. NBA to test for PEDs

When the NBA season resumes later this summer in Orlando, players will be subjected to testing for performance-enhancing drugs, according to The Athletic and Stadium’s Shams Charania. The NBA announced a plan to resume the season via a 22-team return to play format where playoff seeding and participation will be sorted out over an eight game stretch. The timing of and even the announcement itself is interesting. I will surmise that there will not be many players who test positive considering how far in advance players have been made aware.

If the rhetoric of Houston Rockets team owner Tillman Fertitta is to be believed then general manager Daryl Morey will not have to worry about cleaning out his office (yet). Reporting from ESPN’s Tim MacMahon indicates that Fertitta hasn’t “wavered” on keeping Morey as the general manager.
