Jackson State volleyball to open season at Sawyer Camillo Memorial

The Tigers will face Murray State at 11 a.m., UL at 6 p.m. on Friday, and UT Arlington on Saturday at 11 a.m. Jackson State finished last season 17-13 overall and 10-6 in SWAC play. XULA women’s soccer falls to Georgia Gwinnett , 2-0

Jackson State’s Robert McDaniel named to Reese’s Senior Bowl Watch List

He also recorded a pair of tackles for loss. McDaniel accounted for six turnovers last season causing three fumbles and was among the league leaders with three interceptions. She played 30 matches, in which she started in 27 of them. Amparo-Smith led the team with 244 kills, including a season-high 34 kills against Florida A&M.     Defensively, she tallied 160 digs and 33 total blocks.…
