Former Jackson State DB Herman Smith transfers to Colorado

Smith, who played last season at Idaho State, is transferring to Colorado for his final season of eligibility. Jason Mercier is the latest Jackson State footballer to either enter the transfer portal or declare for the NFL draft. The senior defensive line announced Sunday evening that he will now seek to make his NFL dreams a reality.
