DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Bethune-Cookman head baseball coach Jonathan Hernandez has landed another nationally ranked recruiting class this year as the Wildcats skipper and his staff haul in the 37th ranked JUCO recruiting class in the country.
The JBB, a Junior-College baseball publication, has ranked B-CU’s JUCO signing class as the 37th best in the country for this recruiting cycle. This marks the 3rdtime a recruiting class has been ranked nationally under Hernandez’s tenure.
Hernandez and his staff inked 11 Junior-College players who arrived on campus this Fall in Daytona Beach.
“We are very excited about this year’s JUCO recruiting class that we were able to put together here at B-CU. We sre fortunate to land some of the top JUCO recruits in the country and to have them here in Daytona Beach is special for all of us. We believe these student athletes are going to make an immediate impact for us throughout the upcoming 2023 season.”
This year’s JUCO signing class is the highest ranked in the program’s history.
The Wildcats open up the 2023 baseball season on Friday, February 17 as they host Lehigh University in a three-game series at Jackie Robinson Ballpark.
