When it made its original retail debut back in 2012 , the “Big Bang” LeBron 9 was part of that infamous All-Star pack ( that included the “Galaxy” Foamposite One) that altered sneaker culture, and mostly for the worse. Ten years later they are slated to make their return.
At this very early juncture there are no images available of the 2022 version , but what is known is that it will make use of a total orange, metallic silver, team orange and mango color palette. If it is to keep in line with its 2012 progenitor, we should see a LeBron 9 that sports multiple oranges across its fused synthetic upper with 3M Swooshes, along with galaxy-themed touches on the tongue and inner. An orange midsole and glow-in-the-dark midsole should complete the aesthetic.
The “Big Bang” Nike LeBron 9 is anticipated to release during the early portion of 2022 at nike.com and select retail establishments. They will carry a 200 USD sticker price.
