In a pleasing development, news has emerged that the classic “Black Metallic” Air Jordan V, last seen in2016,  is making a return in 2025.

While there are no available images, what is known is the upcoming iteration will reportedly be remastered in an effort to replicate the look and feel of its 1990 progenitor.

We should see a Jordan V with a black nubuck upper with clear netting on the sides and tongue. Fire red should be present on the Jumpman that has its home on the reflective tongue as well as on the lace locks.

Nike Air branding is seen on the rear heel, finishing an upper that resides above a black midsole with visible Nike Air cushioning in the heel as well as a black and translucent rubber outsole.

As it currently stands, the “Black Metallic” Air Jordan V is planned to make its latest retail run in the Spring of 2025. Pricing and release information will be reported as it avails itself.
