Kristaps Porzingis will miss the start of the Golden State Warriors’ training camp with an unspecified health issue, ESPN’s Anthony Slater reports.
Golden State general manager Mike Dunleavy Jr. confirmed Monday that Porzingis is out indefinitely and will not travel with the team to Hawaii for training camp. Dunleavy said he does not currently have a timeline for Porzingis’ return but emphasized that he isn’t necessarily viewing the situation as a long-term issue.
Porzingis had been working out at the Warriors’ facility as recently as last week and was reportedly fully cleared before the health issue surfaced.
The 31-year-old center joined Golden State at the 2026 trade deadline and appeared in 15 games, averaging 16.1 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in 23.7 minutes per game. The Warriors re-signed him this summer to a two-year, $40 million deal.
