Patrick McCaw out several weeks

Toronto Raptors guard/forward Patrick McCaw , will be out for several weeks , according to The Athletic and Stadium’s Shams Charania. Raptors’ head coach Nick Nurse told The Athletic’s Eric Koreen that McCaw was seeing a specialist to further evaluate his knee. McCaw has appeared in just two of the team’s six games, averaging 4.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists in twenty minutes per contest.

Portland’s Zach Collins has dislocated shoulder, MRI forthcoming

The Portland Trail Blazers were able to leave Dallas with a 121-119 victory but they did not make it out of town unscathed. Zach Collins dislocated his left shoulder while battling for a rebounds late in the third quarter and did not return to the ballgame. Uh-oh. The New Orleans Pelicans announced that Zion Williamson will be our six to eight weeks after suffering a tear in his right lateral meniscus. Zion Williams to miss first few weeks of season with knee issue

Yesterday the New Orleans Pelicans announced that rookie sensation Zion Williamson would not play in the team’s preseason finale today against the New York Knicks due knee soreness. It it believed to not be serious but according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the Pelicans are erring on the side of caution and Williamson will miss the first few weeks of the season.
