A closer look at the “Halo” Nike Kobe IX Elite Protro

The “Halo” Kobe IX Elite Protro is a new colorway of the well-received Kobe IX Elite that is slated to release this summer. Conceived as a tribute to the late, great Kobe Bryant, these sport an angelic all-white Flyknit upper with all branding and markings also appearing in white. Seattle Storm guard and United States Women’s National Basketball team member Jewell Loyd rocked a USA-themed colorway of the Kobe IV Protro in international action.  They sport a red upper with FlyWire-equipped side panels. For the first time since 2009, the “Gold Medal” Nike Zoom Kobe IV is primed to make its retail return.  Initial images have emerged and they appear to be a faithful recreation of its 2009 progenitor. It sports gold leather at the toe, wrapping the heel as well as at the collar. At WNBA All-Star practice, Caitlin Clark, the most polarizing basketball player this side of LeBron James, broke out a yet-to-be-seen PE of the Kobe VI Protro.  They sport a pink scaled upper adorned on the sides with green Swooshes. These Kobe X Lows were spotted on the feet of US Olympic Basketball team member and Indiana Pacers point guard Tyrese Haliburrton. They sport a team USA-inspired graphic that completely canvasses the entirety of its upper.
