2019 has seen the return of the Nike Zoom Lebron 3 in several of its original colorways and in the case of this sneaker, a PE from back in the day. This upcoming Lebron 16 has a Los Angeles Lakers flavor. It features a purple Battleknit 2.0 upper with a light blue heel wrap that has the years of the franchise’s NBA championship stitched on it. The yellow tongue features a “2” is stitched on one shoe and a “3” on the other. The insole sports “Lebron” in the Lakers font. This LeBron 16 is inspired by LeBron’s favourite television show

This LeBron 16 pays tribute to Martin, LeBron’s favorite 1990’s sitcom. Paying homage to the fifth season’s DVD cover and poster, this sneaker is outfitted in court purple upper with tour yellow accenting. The triangular pattern that wraps the lower heel is a clear nod to the “Martin” logo and the same can be said for the “NIKE” on the medial heel. At this juncture, there is no confirmed release date. Earlier today the Los Angeles Lakers announced that Lebron James will not play in the club’s Wednesday night game against the Utah Jazz due to ( say it with me) load management. This will be his third game missed in the Lakers’ last seven outings. It seems the missed games will pile up as the Lakers will not be participants in this year’s postseason. Duke Basketball recently showed off a player-exclusive LeBron 16 for their ballclub. Their LeBron 16 features a black BattleKnit upper underlaid with royal blue.
