New Balance prep’d to drop new X-Racer Sneaker

New Balance is gearing up to release the second shoe in the X-Racer series.  The follow up to the original X-90 will come in three colorways- a vibrant green based one, a white based version, and a black and navy. This latest edition draws inspiration from various shoes from the mid 1990’s and early 2000’s: the M1000, M1200, and the RC205. The ‘Curse of the Bambino” inspired this Concepts and New Balance collaboration

New Balance will be releasing a special edition two sneaker pack for the face of their basketball space, Mr. Kawhi Leonard. Kawhi Leonard signs endorsement deal with New Balance

Earlier today, Yahoo Sports’ Chris Haynes reported that Toronto Raptors small forward Kawhi Leonard reached an agreement with New Balance on a multiyear endorsement deal. Leonard turned down a 4-year, $22 million dollar extension with Jordan Brand earlier this year. That deal expired this year which made him a sneaker free agent. Kawhi will serve as the face of New Balance basketball, as like brands Converse and Puma, are looking to re-establish a presence in the performance basketball space. The Orange Bowl Committee, a non-profit sports organization that serves South Florida, in partnership with TD Bank, worked with local schools to collect over 1,300 pair of shoes.
