PE Corner: James Wiseman’s Kobe VI Protro PE

These Kobe VI Protro were made for forme no. 2 overall pick and current Detriot Pistons center James Wiseman.  They sport a white snake-scaled upper adorned on the sides with Swooshes that transition from bright orange to red. A gradient Kobe logo is perched atop the tongue, while a pink external heel counter completes the coloration for the upper.  Underneath resides a white midsole and gradient rubber outsole.  As with nearly of all the subjects of PE Corner, there is no indication of a retail release.  Images via mambainauranceco

An initial look at the “SeaFoam” Nike

Images have emerged of the next sneaker in Giannis Antetokounmpo’s signature line, the Nike Zoom Freak 6.  The sneaker sports a lower collared and assymetrical silhouette. Nike debuts A’ja Wilson’s logo

Ahead of the release of her upcoming signature sneaker, Nike unveiled the logo for 2-time WNBA Champion, Las Vegas Aces forward A’ja Wilson.  The logo depicts a stylized A combined with a star, which has been a longtime visual attribute in the “A”!of the signature of the two-time league MVP. According to Nike, “the base shape of the logo incorporates strong bold lines, symbolizing the strength and support she brings to her team.”  The logo will also appear on branded apparel, which is set to release soon.  Images via Nike

Recently images of a shoe surfaced that was reported to be the maiden signature shoe of rookie sensation Victor Wembanyama.  The sneaker depicted were largely met with disappointment, as it seemed an unworthy effort for his first sneaker. This upcoming LeBron XXI sports a largely pink suede upper, elements of sail and light lavender. Pink also shows up on the inner and rear heel. According to dghoopskicks, a pair of Warriors-inspired Nike KD IV will debut in. 2025.  If the renderings are accurate, one pair is a royal blue-based featuring a fused upper with a gold strap.
