The “Hornets” Air Jordan 9 was created as an exclusive colorway for the man himself, Michael Jordan in 2019 when NBA All-Star Weekend was held in Charlotte.  They sport a white leather upper overlaid with that of a supple-looking purple leather rand that also extends up the heel and collar. PE Corner: James Wiseman’s Kobe VI Protro PE

These Kobe VI Protro were made for forme no. 2 overall pick and current Detriot Pistons center James Wiseman.  They sport a white snake-scaled upper adorned on the sides with Swooshes that transition from bright orange to red. An initial look at the “SeaFoam” Nike

Images have emerged of the next sneaker in Giannis Antetokounmpo’s signature line, the Nike Zoom Freak 6.  The sneaker sports a lower collared and assymetrical silhouette. It features a largely mesh upper overlaid with leather at the eyerows,  wrapping the heel and a small strip on the medial side.  A large blue Swoosh lives on the lateral side and it continues an aesthetic from previous models in that it extends down to and crosses over onto the midsole. Nike debuts A’ja Wilson’s logo

Ahead of the release of her upcoming signature sneaker, Nike unveiled the logo for 2-time WNBA Champion, Las Vegas Aces forward A’ja Wilson.  The logo depicts a stylized A combined with a star, which has been a longtime visual attribute in the “A”!of the signature of the two-time league MVP. According to Nike, “the base shape of the logo incorporates strong bold lines, symbolizing the strength and support she brings to her team.”  The logo will also appear on branded apparel, which is set to release soon.  Images via Nike
