The Minnesota Timberwolves did the basketball world a favor when they ousted the Los Angeles Lakers in the first round of the Western Conference Playoffs.  In typical Lebron James fashion, rather than merely take his losses on the chin, as other all-time greats have, he placed the blame on an extenuating factor, with injury being his go to excuse.  News emerged that James reportedly suffered a Grade 2 MCL sprain in his left knee.  Blaming a season-ending flameout on injury has become the standard operating procedure for James dating back…

Birthed by Shannon Sharpe, “Lakers in 5” was an entertaining bit in which he would make his outlandish pro-LeBron/Lakers picks. We covered the verbal dust-up between Houston Rockets guard Jalen Green and Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green.  During their vernal skirmish, Draymond allegedly told Jalen to go and paint his nails.  As the two are being separated, Draymond appears to make a nail painting gesture toward Jalen.  In a 2024 video ,Jalen Green admitted that he does paint his nails, saying that he stated with a single fingered and progresed to doing all of them.  Game 4 of the series takes place Monday night at the Chase Center at…

The two exchange words in a kerfuffle at center court following the conclusion of Game 3 of the Warriors and Rockets opening round playoff series, a 104-93 Golden State win. Lu Dort says he didn’t mean to hit Ja Morant

With 3:15 reamining in the second quarter after a steal , Scottie Pippen Jr dropped it off to Ja Morant who was filling the lane. Morant elevate to throw down a highlight reel dunk but Lu Dort made contact with Morant, sending him careening to the floor in a heap.  Morant lay on the FedEx Forum hardwood for several minutes before being helped up. The Minnesota Timberwolves puts boots to the collective tooshies of the Los Angeles Lakers to the tune of a 117-95 beating in Game 1 of their opening round playoff series.  Anthony Edwards scored 22 points, albeit on 8-22 from the floor, but handed out 9 assists and grabbed four rebounds.
