From nba news services: All-Star center Joel Embiid is reportedly staying with the Philadelphia 76ers after agreeing to a supermax contract with the team. Per Shams Charania of The Athletic and Ramona Shelburne of ESPN, Embiid has agreed to a four-year, $196 million deal that will keep him with the 76ers through the 2026-27 season. Joel Embiid will miss one week with knee injury

Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid will not be on the court when the team returns to post All-Star action Thursday against the Miami Heat. According to ESPN’s Tim Bontemps, the team announced that Embiid experienced soreness in his left knee that led to him getting an MRI, which fortunately revealed no structural damage.
