Ewing named as Hoyas’ New Basketball Coach

Nike pays homage to the UCONN Huskies’ record winning streak

With their 88-48 thrashing of SMU Saturday, the UCONN women’s basketball team posted their 91st consecutive win, which is now the longest such streak in NCAA basketball history.  To panegyrize this momentous accomplishment, Nike presented each member of the team with a special pack. This pack included the Kyrie 3 “Grey” colorway and a shirt saluting the 91 straight victories.  Unless you are a member of the Husky team, these pictures are likely as close as you will get to this pack.

Cavaliers closing in on deal for Kyle Korver

According to Adrian Wojnarowski, the Cleveland Cavaliers are closing in on a deal for current Atlanta Hawks sharpshooter Kyle Korver.  Sources: Atlanta and Cleveland are finalizing terms on Korver deal, with Mike Dunleavy Jr., likely moving onto a third team through Atlanta. — Adrian Wojnarowski (@wojespn) January 6, 2017 Korver, a career 43% three point shooter, will give the Cavs another shooter in the wake of J.R. Lebron breaks out “Hardwood Classics” PE of the Lebron 14

After the long awaited unveiling of his latest signature, the Lebron 14,  Lebron James broke out the “Hardwood Classics” PE tonight versus the Bulls of Chicago. The striking colorway features an orange upper with blue accenting on the swoosh strap, laces and collar. The midsole sports an orange to blue and back to orange gradation and a translucent outsole rounds out the look of this shoe. There is no word on a retail release but keep it locked in here for any release news on this shoe.
