Lebron breaks out “Hardwood Classics” PE of the Lebron 14

After the long awaited unveiling of his latest signature, the Lebron 14,  Lebron James broke out the “Hardwood Classics” PE tonight versus the Bulls of Chicago. The striking colorway features an orange upper with blue accenting on the swoosh strap, laces and collar. The midsole sports an orange to blue and back to orange gradation and a translucent outsole rounds out the look of this shoe. There is no word on a retail release but keep it locked in here for any release news on this shoe.

Stephen Curry raises $45,157 for Oakland fire victims

The December 2nd fire in Oakland at the Ghost Ship warehouse that tragically ended the lives of 36 people was indeed an unfortunate event. Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry has decided to pitch in to help the victims of this adverse situation. Curry auctioned off two pairs of game worn sneakers to help the victims of the fire.  According to the Warriors, the kicks , which were the “Oakland Strong” version of his Curry 3’s, Curry wore in their December 15th game against the New York Knicks. Joe Mixon: Another Case of Biased Media Reporting

Unprovoked violence against anyone, regardless of sex, is wrong. No one has the right to put their hands on another person in an aggressive fashion. The recent footage that was released (somehow I find the timing odd to say the least) of the altercation University of Oklahoma running back Joe Mixon had with fellow student Amelia Molitor is very telling. This edition made exclusively for the Toronto Raptors Star features a black mesh upper with black leather wrapping around the heel. This upper sits on a black midsole that is accented with red, grey and white speckles. The same speckling is seen on the heel counter and white swoosh on the upper. Former Baylor Star Isaiah Austin Cleared to Play Basketball

After his two seasons at Baylor, it seemed to be a forgone conclusion that Isaiah Austin would grace NBA courts. The 7’1″ center averaged 12.1 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 2.4 blocks per game during his time in Waco (despite being blind in his right eye since the age of 16 after suffering retinal detachment). Cavaliers and J.R. Smith agree on 4-year, $57 million deal

According to league sources, the Cleveland Cavaliers and J.R. Smith have come to terms on a four-year deal worth $57 million. The deal will guaranteed the guard $45 million over the first three years of the agreement. League sources relayed to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst the fourth year of the contract is not guaranteed. Since San Francisco Quarterback Colin Kaepernick took his courageous seat( and subsequent kneel), players from little league to the NFL have joined in the protest. This past Monday at the Sacramento Kings’  preseason game, Leah Tysse took to centercourt for the customary signing of the anthem. Kristaps Porzingis Reportedly Agrees to Multiyear Deal with Adidas

As reported by Nick Depaula of The Vertical,  Adidas has added Kristaps Porzingis to its roster of players. The Knicks’ power forward indicated that he received offers from several sneaker companies , but ultimately whitled it down to the Swoosh and the Three Stripes.
