Nike Kyrie 2 PE to come to retail

This upcoming colorway was worn by Kyrie Irving during the Cavaliers’ opening playoff round sweep of the Detroit Pistons. This shoe features a midnight navy upper with gold accenting featured on the tongue, with the same color on the midsole and outsole, red accents on the heel close out this colorway. This edition of the Kyrie 2 will be available May 19,2016 in limited quantities and will retail for $120.

Sports Authority to Shut Down all Stores

          It appears that Sports Authority will be going the way of the dinosaur.   Back in March, the company filed for Chapter 11. At that time, Sports Authority indicated it would close 140 stores and two distribution centers. Saddled with over $1.1 billion and unable to reorganize, the retailer will liquidate all stores and bring its store operations to a close. Closing all 450 stores across the nation is the final segment in the company’s aim to reorganize under Chapter 11 protection.

            Although they were questioned and criticized for the timing of breaking off former head man Byron Scott because of the recent hiring of highly prized coaches such as Scotty Brooks and Tom Thibadeau, the Los Angeles Lakers announced earlier today the team had reached an agreement with Warriors’ Assistant Luke Walton to become their head coach.
