Tuesday morning Tennessee State University lady basketballer Saniah Parker was announced as Ohio Valley Conference Freshman of the week. In helping the Lady Tigers go 2-0 last week, Parker scored 14 against UT Martin and followed that up with a season, and career-high 18 points against Southeast Missouri. Memphis Grizzlier point guard Ja Morant was named Western Conference POW, Morant averaged 25.0 points, 6.8 assists and 6.3 rebounds per contest in helping Grizzlies to a 5-0 week.
