Albany State gets first win of the season

After being outscored 110-35 in their first three games and going winless, the Albany State Golden Rams headed to Lane Field to take on the Lane Dragons needing a win in the worst way. Tennessee State game at Hampton cancelled due to Hurricane Florence

The Tennessee State/Hampton game that was scheduled for September 15 can now be added to the list of sporting events that are postponed or outright canceled because of Hurricane Florence bearing down on the East Coast. This is the second consecutive week the Tigers have had a game canceled due to inclement weather; the Southern Heritage Classic against Jackson State last week was canceled due to lightning. Like that contest, this game will not be rescheduled.
