The South Bay Lakers are a G-League affiliate of the Los Angeles Lakers. While at Lane College, Ash, led the Dragons to a Regular Season Championship, won the SIAC Defensive Player of the Year multiple times, and led the nation in rebounds.

After being outscored 110-35 in their first three games and going winless, the Albany State Golden Rams headed to Lane Field to take on the Lane Dragons needing a win in the worst way.
