The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) has announced its baseball weekly honors, released by the league office on Monday.
Luis Febres (Lane College) was named Player of the Week, while Enrico Peele (Savannah State) earned Pitcher of the Week honors.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK – Luis Febres, Lane | Catcher | Sophomore | Venezuela
In Lane’s three game series against Benedict, Febres batted for a .538 average. Febres hit six RBIs and scored two runs as well.
PITCHER OF THE WEEK – Enrico Peele, Savannah State| Pitcher | 6’2 | Redshirt-Junior | LeHigh Acres, FL
Against Kentucky State, Peele pitched six shutout innings. Peele struck out six batters and only gave up two hits.
