In this edition of head-shaking inducing actions related to sneakers,  according to an arrest report, two men are in the Palm Beach County Jail after they allegedly beat up a 12 year-old-boy Sunday.  The report said Nicolas Sanchez and Gonzalo Munoz are staring down robbery charges after the two males and three juveniles attacked the victim and stole the $200 he was wearing and another pair of $300 sneakers he had in a box. Stupid Things People Do For Sneakers: Bridgeport, CT thieves pilfer 3K worth of Nike Shoes

According to Bridgeport, Connecticut police, a duo of burglars stole 10 pair of Air Jordan sneakers valued at $3,000. The thieves also caused more than $6,000 in damage when they broke in the front door with a crowbar.  Cameras caught the two men entering the three-story apartment complex carrying empty bags. Tragedy struck the family of Illinois Rep Danny Davis, who represents the 7th Congressional District of Illinois.  Two teenagers broke into the home of Davis’s grandson, 15 year-old Jovan Wilson. In our latest edition of Stupid Things People Do for Sneakers, we submit the case of Travis Pastorius of Utica, NY. The 28 year old was charged with felony 4th degree larceny and  misdemeanor petit larceny after he pilfered 34 pairs of sneakers from a local JC Penney over a two-day period.  Mr. Pastorius was arraigned in New Hartford Town Court and then sent to the Oneida County Jail; he will appear in court at a later date.
