Week 4 of Dr. Cavil’s Inside the HBCU Sports Lab saw little movement, with six of the seven teams retaining their positions from the previous week. 7. Tennessee State falls to Alabama A&M in Legacy Series opener, 23-21

Tennessee State’s offense seemed to find its way in the second quarter, scoring 21 points and racking up 182 yards. Air Jordan 9 Boot to return for Holiday 2025

The concept of the boot version of the Air Jordan 9 first debuted in 2017 and Jordan Brand will run them back out for another retail run in the holiday 2025.  The “Black/Gum” and “Wheat”, the two most standout colorways of the AJ9 Boot, have been tapped for returns. Clark Atlanta scores late to get past Fort Valley State, 26-21

A 10-point quarter pushed the Panthers of Clark Atlanta past Fort Valley State, 26-21 in front of a national audience on ESPN2.  After a scoreless first quarter, Fort Valley State struck first when Wildcats quarterback Don Hudson connected with J.T. Pendleton on an 11-yard scoring toss, caping a 14-play, 75-yard drive that made the score 7-0.
