After being down at the half, the Tennessee State basketball team picked it up in the second half, outscoring Tennessee Tech 49-30 on the second half to claim victory, 89-77.  Tennessee State jumped out to an early 13-4 lead and continued to show the way for the lion’s share of the half. image via Matt Patterson Norfolk State women’s basketball coach Larry Vickers was named to the Midseason Midseason Kathy Delaney-Smith Mid-Major Coach of the Year Watchlist earlier this week.  Vickers is in his 10th season and has recorded a 163-98 record. Coach Vickers’ Lady Spartans ball club is currently 17-4, including wins over Missouri and Auburn.
