There was seemingly widespread exasperation and disappointment amongst a sizable segment of sneaker enthusiasts when recent images came to light of a black Air Jordan 11 with JORDAN up the sides was purported as the annual holiday Jordan 11.
However the previous Air Jordan could be the B-side in a pair of releases.
The possible reprieve could have been “mistakenly” revel was by Boston Celtics forward and Jordan Brand member Jayson Tatum, who in a recent social media post displayed a pair of “Cool Grey” Air Jordan 11. Though seen in a what appears to be standard Jordan packaging, pair in the post did not appear to be the original version in 2001 nor the 2010 version as the gray patent leather rand is higher, which is in line with more recent versions ( which are more in line with the OG, from that standpoint) and the upper is mesh and not nubuck.
At this juncture, there is no word on if or when these could be retuning to retail. We will provide information on this potentially exciting development as it avails itself.
