BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Southwestern Athletic Conference has tabbed Prairie View A&M’s Jeremiah Gambrell and Alabama State’s Gerald Liddell for SWAC Men’s Basketball Weekly Honors for their outstanding performances during non-conference play.
Player of the Week
Gambrell tallied a game high 22 points versus Wichita State this past week in non-conference action for the Panthers. He also contributed one rebound, one assist, and one steal during the contest.
Impact Player of the Week
Liddell was a key contributor for Alabama State during the Hornets non-conference outing versus Texas. He tallied a game high 16 points to go along with two rebounds, one blocked shot, and one steal.
