Embiid and Paul named Conference Players of the Week

Monday the NBA named their weekly Conference Players of the Week.

Western Conference Player of the Week, Chris Paul PG, Phoenix Suns

Paul continues to be a godsend since arriving in Phoenix. In keeping the best team in the Association keep up their winning ways, averaging 22.3 points, 12.8 assists and 7.5 rebounds in helping the Suns go 4-0 last week. On the season Paulis averaging 14.8, points, 10.3 assists and 4.6 rebounds per game, with his play making a strong case for Paul to be named to his 12th All-Star Game.

Eastern Conference Player of the Week- Joel Embiid, C, Philadelphia 76ers

The 76ers big man had a monster week, putting up nearly 35 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists in leading the Sixers to an undefeated week. Embiid is averaging 29.1 points, 10.8 rebounds and 4.4 assists per contests and making a strong case for MVP consideration.
